Course Questions

How long does it take to complete a course?

There is a suggested timeframe listed for each course. However, you are encouraged to spend as much time on each topic as you need. You can complete the course over multiple sittings. When you log out your work is saved and your position is bookmarked for the next time.

What happens if I walk away from the course for a period of time?

The course will allow you to remain inactive for a period of 2 hours. The system will time out and require you to log in again on the next time you attempt to use the course. You will be taken to the list of modules for the course. Completed modules will have a checkbox next to them. Click on the module name to continue.

How do I obtain a copy of the Certificate of Completion?

Log in to your account, then go to the course listing. You can reprint your Certificate of Completion from there. Contact Customer Support if you have any problems.

Purchase Questions

How do I purchase a course?

If you are looking for an individual purchase of a course go to the course catalogue and select a course for purchase. Next click on the shopping cart to complete the transaction with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). When you complete the transaction an email confirmation of your order and registration will be sent to the email address you provided.

How much do courses cost?

Please visit our course catalogue to view our current library of engaging courses and prices. Please note course prices can change without notice. Bulk pricing is available, please contact your account representative or sales@chemscape.com for more information.

How do I pay for a course?

You can pay for a course online using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). You will be provided immediate access to your course once the transaction has been completed and you have received an e-mail confirming payment and course enrollment. Chemscape uses Stripe as our e-commerce provider to process your payment. We do not store any credit card information. Passwords, firewalls, and encrypted transmission are used to safeguard personal data and credit card transactions. If you have any concerns please contact support@chemscape.com.

What is your refund policy?

If you have not started the course and you made an individual purchase on credit card you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting Customer Support. Please note that a refund or cancellation will terminate your access to the course.

My company has purchased Chemscape courses. How do I begin?

If your company has pre-purchased courses you will need to find out the URL for your company’s msdsBinders site. Access will require your unique log in or a generic log in provided by your company. If you are not sure whom to contact at your company, Chemscape Support can help direct you.

A High Speed Internet Connection

Operating Systems: Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10; Linux; Mac OS x – 10.0+

Browsers: Internet Explorer 9+, Microsoft Edge, Any recent version of Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Google Chrome

Running on any virtual desktop not supported (e.g. Citrix Receiver)

Do I require any additional software or plug-ins?

Yes. Adobe Acrobat Reader is used to download resources in some of our courses.
